Destiny 2: Xur Exotic Armor, Weapon, and Recommendations for June 7 (2024)

Xur has returned again to Destiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. It has proven to be an exciting week for Destiny 2 fans as the long anticipated Final Shape expansion finally arrived. However, the launch day didn't go as most probably expected as significant server issues and error messages either prevented Destiny 2 players from logging in or kicking them back to orbit while playing activities. Bungie eventually sorted out the issues, though fans were disappointed with the technical problems.

In addition to exploring the Pale Heart inside the Traveler, today also sees the arrival of the Salvation's Edge raid event in Destiny 2, kicking off another World's First race for many in the community. Even though there are a good number of players who don't participate in these high-end activities, the results of teams completing Salvation's Edge will have an impact on the entire game, unlocking some sort of content for everyone to give them a chance to experience the conclusion against The Witness.

Alongside the Salvation's Edge race, the exotic merchant Xur has once again returned with an all-new selection of exotics and legendary gear for Destiny 2. Follow this guide for his current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he's brought for the weekend of June 7, 2024.

Where is Xur?

Surprise! Xur has a new location! This weekend, the exotic merchant is hiding in the little alleyway next to the Ramen shop in the Tower Bazaar.

Since the Bazaar area in the Tower is between both fast travel points, players can pick either one to load into. Head into the area where Ikora and Hawthorne are and look for the little Ramen Shop towards the back wall. While facing the shop, the alley is to the right, where Xur is standing.

Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher

Xur's role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they're necessary to acquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.

Exotic Perks:

• The Fourth Magic - Weapon final blows with a damage type matching your grenade grant Death Throes, which provide a grenade damage bonus and grant you grenade energy. When you have Death Throes and throw a grenade, nearby allies gain greatly increased grenade regeneration for a short time.

Overall, a well-balanced exotic this week in terms of stats and a solid one to enhance grenade damage and regeneration.

Raiju's Harness - Hunter chest armor

Exotic Perk:

• Mobius Conduit - Deactivate Arc Staff early to create a blinding explosion and gain a temporary boost to Arc weapon damage. Arc Staff consumes energy more slowly when not attacking.

With a weak stat roll this week, this is a hard exotic to recommend, especially with some of the newer ones introduced inside of The Final Shape.

Lion Rampant - Titan leg armor

Exotic Perk:

• Jump Jets - Provides additional aerial maneuverability and enables accurate hipfire while you're in the air during Lift. Provides a large benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons while hipfiring.

Great exotics for handling jumping puzzles or activities like The Whisper. These aren't the best for combat situations, but the roll is solid so Titan players should grab these if they don't have them unlocked.
