The Hellcat is faster than the Scat Pack. The Scat Pack makes 485 horsepower, while the Hellcat makes 717 horsepower (or 797 horsepower as the wicked Hellcat Redeye).

It was built to be a cheaper, less powerful alternative to the supercharged Hellcat option. Essentially, the Scat Pack boosts the base R/T from 375 horsepower at 5,150 rpm to 485 hp at 6,100 rpm. All of that is thanks to the 6.4-liter 392 HEMI V8 engine.
