Overview[]
Much like the Woof! Cake Hound Frenzy and the Fight! Against the Candy Golem! events, players battle against the Red Dragon of the Valley boss, which primarily serves as a damage sponge. The goal is to deal as much damage to the boss as possible, as well as collect as many Red Dragon's Scales as possible in order to climb the ranking leaderboard of this game mode's season. Players earn rewards at the end of the season according to their ranking in the leaderboard.
Dealing damage to the boss forces it to drop Red Dragon's Scales, which are used to purchase permanent upgrades. Up to 100 Red Dragon's Scales can be collected from any given battle. Red Dragon's Scales are dropped based on the number of times the boss was struck, regardless of the damage, but does not factor in damage from damage-over-time effects such as Burn or Poison.
A total of 1,500 Red Dragon's Scales can be collected, after which these will stop appearing in future battles. All Red Dragon's Scales collected will be converted into coins (10 coins for every scale) at the end of the season. This event will automatically provide a Lv. 45, zero-star copy of Tarte Tatin Cookie for the team, who is equipped with a full set of Searing Raspberry toppings. The player may replace her with their own copy of that Cookie at any time, but cannot be removed from the team.
Red Dragon's Scales | |

A rough scale from the Red Dragon of the Dragon's Valley. Dragon scales are usually said to hold the strength of the dragon itself, but for some reason this one feels almost empty... No, it also seems to hold an intense but violent life force. |
Boss Attacks[]
Special Buffs[]
There are two kinds of effects: a permanent set of three upgradable effects for the boss that may be upgraded for Red Dragon's Scales, and a temporary set of three random effects that can be rerolled any number of times for Coins. Players begin with one available random effect slot for each boss, but can unlock the second and third slots either by battling the boss 2 and 10 times respectively or by spending 500 and 1,000 Crystals for second and third slots respectively.
Permanent upgrades can be leveled up to Lv.10, and have the same effects. Temporary upgrades cost 500 Coins to roll, increasing in cost for each succeeding roll up to 5,000 Coins.

Tips & Recommendations[]
“I've precisely calculated my victory! Yours, however...„ ↕ | |
The contents of this section are based on the experiences of its editors. Success with its advice will vary from player to player. |
Tips[]
- Due to the boss being vulnerable to all elements, skills that deal elemental damage will deal increased damage.
- The boss is immune to all debuffs. Unlike the Giant Cinnamon Wyvern, it is also immune to debuffs that deal periodic elemental damage like Burn or Poison, or those that increase elemental damage received.
- The Red Dragon deals less damage than its Story Mode appearance, so having a Cookie that focuses on healing only is unnecessary.
Team Composition[]
Front | Middle | Rear | Treasures | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Essential | ||||
Optional |
- All Cookies use a full set of Searing Raspberry toppings with at least 5%+ cooldown in it (with the exception of Cream Puff Cookie, who should use Juicy Apple Jelly toppings instead)
- Tarte Tatin Cookie and Rye Cookie are the main damage dealers, and should ideally receive the effects of Librarian's Enchanted Robes.
- Dream Conductor's Whistle can be used interchangeably, depending on which one has the higher level, and should also ideally .
- Mala Sauce Cookie's increased CRIT% buff should preferably be applied to the above two Cookies.
- The various buffs provided by Macaron Cookie and Cream Puff Cookie further amplifies the above damage, while also providing both substantial damage to boss and enough healing to survive in the battle. These Cookies can also use their abilities while under the effect of Void.
- It is necessary to have at least one Cookie that provides healing, like Pure Vanilla Cookie. However, because the boss doesn't do significant damage, it's better to use a Cookie that does periodic healing and also buffs the team, like Pomegranate Cookie or Cotton Cookie.
